Ozzy Doc Premiere at SXSW Film 2020 Canceled due to Covid-19 Pandemic

The documentary film The Nine Lives of Ozzy Osbourne, produced by Bob Sarles + Christina Keating (of Ravin’ Films, Inc.) was to have had it’s World Premiere at this year’s SXSW Film Festival in March. Directed by R. Greg Johnston, the film celebrates the life of rock icon and Godfather of heavy metal Ozzy Osbourne and features interviews with Sharon Osbourne, Rick Rubin, Ice-T, Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, Jonathan Davis and Post Malone. Bob Sarles edited the film along with Stephen Carr. Christina Keating also served as the film’s Story Editor. Executive Producers include Sharon Osbourne, Ozzy Osbourne, Jack Osbourne, Peter Glowski, and Brad Abramson. The film, which will air on A&E later this year under the BIOGRAPHY banner, was produced by Osbourne Media in association with Critical Content.

Unfortunately, the 2020 SXSW Festival was the first major victim to COVID-19, the first domino to fall in what became a world wide shut down. Sadly, we never made it to Austin to celebrate the film. But, we remain proud to have been an official selection of the prestigious film festival, regardless.
